At this free teacher-appreciation event, you'll also have the opportunity to visit with staff members of local non-profit organizations and pick up valuable curriculum, field trip and classroom resources. Attendance is by registration only. Please note that this event is for active teachers only; due to limited resources, we cannot accommodate family members or friends who are not currently teaching. ADULTS ONLY, PLEASE. Founded in 2000, the Cultural Network is a consortium of museums, libraries and educational and cultural organizations collaborating to share information on projects and programs, and to develop partnership opportunities and implement group activities. Members include the public libraries of Boise, Garden City and Meridian, Ada Community Library, Boise Art Museum, Boise Parks & Recreation, Discovery Center of Idaho, Idaho Human Rights Education Center, Idaho State Historical Society, Opera Idaho and Zoo Boise.
